Are All Affiliate Marketing Products Scams?

scams I was just reading a post in a popular forum from a disgruntled newbie, carrying on about how they lost money with a particular affiliate marketing product. So what else is new?

There is always going to be a percentage of people who will never succeed with affiliate marketing no matter what they do.

Now granted there is a varying degree of quality between products and some are better developed than others, but even if you found the solution to all of your affiliate dreams, without consistent application and focus on the material contained in it, failure will be the result.

What’s interesting is that you’ll hear someone carry on about how they lost x amount of dollars and got a refund and then you’ll hear about someone else who was able to generate revenue as a result of the techniques and principles laid out in the same product.

What was the difference for these two people? Was one smarter than the other?

The difference 99% of the time is the frame of mind. Most people today are in such dire straits that they’re not thinking about building a business, they want a lottery ticket or magic pill that will miraculously cause all of their money problems to vanish, but that’s not realistic and that’s definitely not reasonable.

If you know of someone that needs to make money right this very second, tell them to open up an ebay account and start selling every last bit of junk they can find. That’s not a long term business strategy, but it is a way to make some cash right now.

Making money online or off is a matter of providing something of value that another individual would be willing to exchange money for. If you’re thinking about doing this in the long term, than you’re better suited for starting a business online, if it’s only about the short term than try ebay or get a job.
