Are You Dealing in Dreams or Realities?
Hi, I was just thinking about something that seperates winners from losers, success from failure and how the matter is usually settled from the start.
It all starts with what you expect to accomplish regards any given matter and whether or not a person stands even the slightest chance of success.
I’m sure you know the old saying: “Talk is cheap”, but sometimes we need to talk… to ourselves to keep the fire of determination from subsiding.
The key to the mental conversation that we carry on internally is to be decisive about taking action on what we’re telling ourselves. However it’s important not to get too grandiose in our musings so as to mislead ourselves into thinking we’re going to become millionaires over night.
Dreamers dream, as a matter of fact they are so good at it that they’ve learned how to dream with their eyes open. I think they call it “daydreaming”.
The only problem with the dream is that if there is no action to follow up, all you have is a dream and nothing more.
To create a positive outlook on what the future of your success could look like, it’s a good idea to sit down and assess what you’re strengths are and play to them as much as possible.
Just to give you an idea, if you are able to write articles but you’re lacking in the area of website development than write articles promoting your content on free blogs or if you really like writing articles and find that you can do it for hours, why not sell your services in the marketplace and turn your strength into a business?
The point is that whatever you’re strengths are, use them as leverage to get other things done, but don’t let yourself get caught up in the fantasy world of instant riches and expect to live the internet lifestyle tomorrow because the reality is that won’t happen.
And if you allow yourself to get caught up in the dream without taking any action to fulfill it, all you’ll do is set yourself up for failure.
Be real with yourself and work really hard at reinventing yourself so that you can live a real life of success and happiness.
After all isn’t that the goal?
