As for building backlinks faster, to put it plainly, the more backlinks you have pointing to your site, the more traffic you’re going to get and one powerful way to get good quality backlinks to your site is to do directory submission.

Web directories are looked at by the search engines as authority sites and contain high page rank anywhere between 0-6 and with links of that caliber pointing back to your site, you can expect to get some good seo love from the search engines.
