Can You Work At Affiliate Marketing Part Time and Make Full Time Money?

It would seem that in order to make a decent income with affiliate marketing, that you would have to set aside a lot of time to make it work, but that’s not necessarily true and may even hinder your progress, here’s why…

Have you ever had the experience of having a whole day to yourself to get something done only to realize that at the end of that same day, you got nothing done?

It’s an interest phenomena that effects just about everyone you talk to and very few can easily explain, but I’ll give it the ole college try and see if what I’m saying makes sense.

There aren’t too many of us out there who like pressure, especially when it comes to the pressure that you feel when you have to meet a deadline. However if it wasn’t for the deadline the project, chore or whatever it is would probably not get done.

If you’re a student in school, you know this all too well. How often do you jump on projects that you receive during the holidays or spring recess? Most of the people that I know don’t start working on the projects until a day or two before the project is due and complain incessantly about the pressure they’ve imposed on themselves.

But somehow despite the feelings of overwhelm, the work gets done.

The same can be said about work related deadlines or just going on a vacation for a few days. How many people do you know that actually pack well in advance to avoid the pressure of having to pack the night before?

I do this all the time despite the fact that I know I’m going to be all stressed out because I knew I should’ve done it earlier, but somehow the bags get packed and the vacation happens.

Well it is very much the same way with affiliate marketing. As a matter of fact if you only have one or two hours a day to devote to building your affiliate marketing business, you’ll build it that much faster.

Sounds crazy doesn’t it? But the key to making it work is to lay out a plan that you can follow on a daily basis eliminating the “what should I do today” blues.

Write out a simple 2 or 3 step process for finding a market to go into. Then perhaps another 2 or 3 step process for finding a product to sell to that market.

From there you can map out a simple process for building your website and getting traffic, so that when you sit down to do some work, there is nothing else you have to think about.

It’s a lot like working your 9-5 when you think about it. Once you clock in at your job you don’t necessarily have to figure out what you have to do today. Especially if it’s a service driven business, all you have to focus on is how much of what you’re doing will you be able to get done before the day is over.

Make sense?

So to answer the question, yes you can make a full time income with affiliate marketing working part time as long you have a simple system in place.
