Do You Want To Make Money Online or Build An Internet Business?

I know it sounds a little bit like a trick question, but what are you looking to do? Make money online or build your own internet business?

Quite frankly I think this is one of the problems that keeps people from making any money on the internet.

With things being the way they are today, it’s no surprise that people are looking for ways to keep the bills paid without having to get two or three jobs to do it, but before you go searching online and spending money on make money online products, you need to clearly define what it is you’re looking to accomplish.

I know that when I first got started a little over 2 years ago, I just wanted to make a few big hits that would help me to pay a few bills that were looming at the time, but as I began to experience the reality of getting actual clickbank checks in the mail, I realized that my goals had changed.

I no longer wanted something that would give me access to a few extra bucks every month, I wanted to replace my day job with my own internet business so I wouldn’t have to deal with commuting, babysitters, and bad eating habits (I use to work in the automotive industry as a parts consultant and I ate off the coffee truck a lot).

Two years later I am beginning to see the fruits of my labor, although I’m not living the internet lifestyle yet, the reality is that if I had not clearly defined what it is I wanted to do, I wouldn’t be seeing anything right now.

So if you want to stop going around in circles, it’s important that you figure out what it is you’re trying to do.

If you want to make money online, fill out paid surveys or sell stuff on ebay but if you want to build a lasting income from the internet than you must begin to think of building a business and a major part of being able to build a successful business online starts with building a list.
