How To Turn Your Blog Into A Viral Magnet
Everytime I think of the word ‘viral’ I always get a negative picture in my head of being sick or trying not catch someone else’s cold or flu, but in the case of viral blogging that’s exactly what you want to happen.
One way to turn your blog into an infection that people want to catch is to write your content in a way that wreaks of your personality and viewpoint.
After all how useful are a bunch of websites that all say the same thing? After awhile you’d just get annoyed and think that someone is not telling the truth.
In a sense, if you’re blogging whether it be to make money or just develop a following, it’s actually to your benefit to post ideas that may go against the grain of conventional wisdom and give your readers a fresh perspective on a given topic from a different point of view.
You can weave your personal experiences into the topic your discussing, giving your readers a more authentic feel as to who you are and what you’re about.
Just using these couple of suggestions can liven up just about any topic even if it’s technical in nature.
Another key point is to write like you speak. The rules of grammar and punctuality are vastly different when it comes to writing for the web, so don’t get caught up in trying to conjure up a literary masterpiece.
Just speak your piece and don’t censor yourself to the point that you end up stifling your ‘voice’.
Last but not least, if you come across any interesting news that directly affects the readers in your niche… report it.
So what, you read it on so and so’s blog, do you want your readers to visit so and so’s blog or do you want them to visit your blog?
Well that’s it for the moment.
