Shouldn’t You Get The Traffic? Why Give It Away?

Imagine giving away traffic? That’s sounds crazy but that’s what a lot of people do on a daily basis and when I look back at the fact that I used to do this, alls I can say is that was freakin’ insane.

So what am I talking about? I’m talking about the thousands of visitors that so many people slave for only to give away to someone else’s optin list.

If there is one thing you should have noticed by now is that every succesful marketer has an optin list. The thing about it is you might not have paid any particular attention to the fact that they were building one in the first place.

Let’s face it, as an affiliate the only thing you’re primarily concerned with is whether or not the product you’re promoting will convert or not.

When you go to the clickbank marketplace all you’re looking for is something white hot that everybody is dying to get their hands on so you can get a piece of the action, but…

Do you think the product creator drives all the traffic? No. You do.

Now that in and of itself is not inherently evil after all the product merchant is paying you between 65%-75% of the purchase price to be the best traffic getter you can be, so what’s so bad about that?

Well if you have participated in this activity for awhile you know that getting traffic is no cake walk. Sure you can use PPC and get a blast of traffic but if you stop paying people stop clicking.

What about article marketing and all of the other free traffic methods you can use out there? Well if you’ve been using these methods for awhile you know that time is money and if you’re an affiliate you’re probably investing time and money.

So why is this important anyway? This is important because for all the traffic you’re killing yourself to get to that affiliate offer, for every person that doesn’t buy at least 1 out of 5 will sign up for that vendors list.

This give the vendor multiple opportunities to sell other products and make money from the traffic you broke your hindparts to get.
