In just about every conversation that mentions the creation of content or the creation of your own products, you almost always hear people mention that your content should be quality.
Make sure to give quality content, you hear that alot but hardly anybody defines exactly what the heck that is, so I’m gonna give you my take on it.
To me quality content is content that is legible and intelligible. So what does that mean? That means write material that others can read and that offers some kind of value to your readers.
It doesn’t matter if it’s an article, a free report or an ebook as long as it contributes to the forward development and education of your readers and customers… than it’s quality.
What’s so funny about this statement is that almost everytime I read something in a report or ebook, I’ll usually find the same mistakes in those reports.
Mistakes like spelling errors, grammar, punctuation and they’ll be the same ones to tell you to make sure you give quality content and watch out for these things.
So make sure that if you’re going to write an article it contributes in some way to further educating your audience and spell check it.
It won’t always be perfect, but at least if it makes sense and others can read it than it’s a worthwhile contribution.
By the way, this carries over to audio and video products as well, be mindful of your volume and viewing quality as well as trying not to inject too many “uuhhs” and “umms” and you’ll do just fine.
Just think about the kind of quality you would expect from a product and build your own around that.
